About Our Commercial Services

We deliver commercial projects for small to medium-sized businesses that value quality, reliability, and a professional delivery experience. Our work is often chosen where the brief is complex, the environment is sensitive, or the finished space needs to perform under real operational use, not just look good on day one.

We take a calm, considered approach, with a clear focus on sequencing, coordination, and quality control; supported by practical problem-solving that keeps projects moving.

Who We Work With

We’re best suited to projects where owners and operators want a capable delivery partner and a direct line to the people responsible for getting the job done.

Typical Clients Include:

Shops

Retail brands and independent shops

Shops

Hospitality Businesses

Shops

Office and studio environments

Shops

Cinema, art, and exhibition spaces

Shops

Leisure and visitor-focused venues

We can support larger organisations where the work is genuinely interesting and complex, but as a boutique firm we’re not structured around procurement-led frameworks or extended payment terms

The supporting elements outlined above form part of how we deliver and coordinate projects in practice. These may be incorporated within a wider scope of works or delivered independently, depending on the requirements.

How we deliver commercial projects

Commercial projects demand more than technical ability; they require clear judgement, disciplined delivery, and an understanding of how the space will function in practice.

Our approach is built around:

Quality craftsmanship

Quality and durability

Ensuring finishes and materials are delivered to withstand day-to-day use and long-term performance

Clear sequencing

Clear Sequencing and Coordination

Managing each stage of the build to ensure efficient delivery, particularly where access is restricted or trades overlap

Practical problem

Practical Problem-Solving

Responding to on-site challenges with clear, considered decisions that protect the outcome and maintain progress

Controlled delivery

Controlled Delivery on Site

Maintaining a clean, organised working environment that supports safe, efficient and predictable delivery

This is particularly important in environments where delays, rework, or uncertainty carry a direct impact on operations, timelines, and overall business performance

Working Around Live Environments

While some commercial projects are delivered during closure, others require work to be carried out alongside ongoing operations.

Where this is the case, we plan sequencing, access, and safety around the practical needs of the business, maintaining clear separation between working and operational areas. This allows the project to progress in a controlled way while minimising disruption to day-to-day activity.

Working around active environments
Bespoke elements in commercial projects

Bespoke elements within commercial projects

Some commercial environments require tailored interior elements where standard solutions don’t fully meet operational or brand requirements.

This may include retail joinery, counters, display systems, or fitted features designed to support how the space functions in practice.

Where bespoke elements form part of a wider project, they are delivered as an integrated part of the build, ensuring the overall space feels consistent, functional, and properly resolved. For more detail on these elements, see our Bespoke Interiors service.

This company is basically perfect. It's really hard to find someone in Liverpool who will take on small jobs as well as big ones, explain the work clearly, provide a fully-explained estimate, turn up on time, complete the work conscientiously and to a superb standard, and also be lovely people. I originally contacted Andira about some very small odd jobs - the kind of thing it's often hard to get anyone to come and quote for - and I was delighted at how my small jobs were treated with the same care and seriousness as a really big contract might be. I then asked them to take on a much bigger job, replacing two balcony decks and some external doors, and that work was also carried out with great care and efficiency, communicating dates and times very clearly, turning up when promised, and getting the work done to a very high standard. I have honestly been astounded by how good Neil and Zoe and their team have been. In some cases, I have been asking the team to re-do work that had previously been undertaken by other, shoddier companies, and the difference - in the care taken, the explanations given, the choices offered in estimates, the quality of the work - has been immeasurable. These people are an absolute delight to work with. I am rarely so effusive about contractors, but Andira really are special.

We highly recommend Andira. From the beginning of engaging this company we felt in safe hands, we were consulted at every step and the work was done to a high standard. Their workers were great and we enjoyed their presence; they were careful and tidied up at the end of each day. We were and still are really pleased with the excellent work that they did. Recently we had solar panels installed and the installers commented on how good the roof is that Andira built.

Andira stepped in to help us complete our renovations during a period of significant personal challenge, and from the very beginning it was clear we were in safe hands. Neil carried out fantastic work installing a wet room and drainage system, as well as an upstairs bath with floating cupboards and tiling, all finished to an exceptionally high standard. He also completely transformed our under‑stairs cupboard of doom and wasted space into a brilliant, well‑designed storage system, fully utilising every inch with soft‑closing drawers and doors. Neil was friendly and personable from the outset, and his expert knowledge and guidance were invaluable throughout. When I asked about incorporating hidden doors, he took the time to clearly explain the available options, helping me make an informed decision without any pressure. Zoe took the lead in overseeing the project, coordinating seamlessly with other subcontractors to ensure everything was delivered on time and within budget. Her organisation, communication, and calm oversight made what could have been a stressful process feel manageable and reassuring. I would highly recommend Andira to anyone looking for a builder they can genuinely trust and rely on, particularly if they need a team who will support them with care, professionalism, and attention to detail during challenging circumstances.
