Manchester Centre for Arts & Technology

This specialist project required Neil to build an in-situ circular desk, nine metres in diameter and suspended 5 metres in the air, the back had a seventy degree pitch and was clad in tapered Cedar boards which rose from 1.2m to 2.0m.

The inside of the desk housed air flow ducting, electrical and data cabling and again had a rising and falling shape.
